Asalam Alycome wr wb I saw your post about your dream. MasahaAllah its a good sign for you dreams were loved ones coming may show how much you may think of them, if they are happy it symbolizes that bithnillah they are happy on the other side, Also if they smile and are in a joyful mood it may symbolize that they are pleased with something you may have done for them after their passing. Did they say anything to you in the dream?

I know in the dream my friend talked with me, but unfortunately I cannot remember what he told me. I just wanted to cry when I woke up, out of joy (for seeing my friend so happy and us being happy together) and sadness (for missing my friend so much).

Islamic dream interpretation: talking with the dead

So I looked up a few sources online to see if talking with the dead is a good or bad thing. I don’t place any trust in the online sources, but it’s at least a possible indication of good things.

Generally talking with the dead, if the situation is a happy one, means that things are good. Depending on what happens in the dream, it could mean that you have a long life, Allah (glorified and exalted be He) is pleased with you, the deceased is forgiven by Allah, the deceased is leading a happy life in the Hereafter, etc.
